Holroyd at the double
Chris Holroyd struck twice to help Macclesfield defeat Barrow 4-1 and earn the right to host Championship side Cardiff in the FA Cup third round next weekend.
The two Blue Square Bet Premier sides drew 1-1 in the original tie but Macclesfield were 2-0 up in 16 minutes in the replay thanks to John Paul Kissock and Holroyd.
Adam Boyes offered an instant response for the visitors but Matthew Barnes-Homer extended the Silkmen's lead on 67 minutes and Holroyd wrapped up the win two minutes later.
After passing three pitch inspections to get the replay on, Macclesfield were leading after just seven minutes when Ryan Jackson burst past Gavin Skelton and crossed for Kissock to score.
The Silkmen doubled their lead nine minutes later through Holroyd after he won possession on the edge of the box and slotted the ball under goalkeeper Danny Hurst.
Barrow responded immediately through top scorer Boyes, who finished from Paul Rutherford's pass to halve the deficit.
Macclesfield restored their two-goal cushion when Nat Brown's clearance was flicked on by Holroyd to send Barnes-Homer clear and round the goalkeeper, before Holroyd grabbed his second two minutes later to earn the money-spinning visit of Cardiff.
