Deasy told BBC Radio Cumbria: "The club are asking players to give up jobs, obviously money is an issue.
"I'm just glad it is all resolved. This year I think I'm even more excited. We know what's coming, there's no fear there, we know we can do well."
Deasy says the move to training three days-a-week next season has seen players make a greater commitment to the club.
"You need to try and find yourself a job for those two days off a week," he said. "You need flexible working hours knowing that sometimes you will be coming in on a Wednesday morning shattered from a game down south the night before.
"Sometimes you might need to take a half-day on a Friday or maybe a full day off to travel down south so it was a very difficult situation for all the lads, including the managers."
Deasy began his career with Macclesfield Town, making three first-team appearances for the Silkmen before being released in the summer of 2006.
He joined Stockport County but left Edgeley Park without playing a first team game.
A permanent move to Barrow followed in August 2007. "I definitely wanted to get things sorted before I went away," Deasy said.
"It's not nice having to go on holiday not knowing what you're going to be doing next season.
"You want to try and get it sorted as soon as possible but sometimes these things take time."
The Bluebirds will return to pre-season training on 30 June but will not be able to use their new Salford Sports Village training facilities until the following month.
"The first couple of weeks we are staying part-time until the facilities come available," Deasy said.
"We're just raring to go. With us going full-time, the sky is the limit. With a good pre-season behind us we can go really well."
