Barrow joint-boss Dave Bayliss was delighted with Tuesday's 4-0 FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay win against Chester. The win books a place in the first round proper against Eastleigh, and gives Barrow a chance to repeat last season's run to round three.
"It's fantastic," Bayliss told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We had great memories from last year and it would have been a shame to go out at the first hurdle."
The Bluebirds were level with their Blue Square Premier rivals at the break, before turning up the heat in the second half with four goals in 17 minutes at the end of the game to seal a convincing victory.
Among the scorers at the Deva Stadium was on-loan Carlisle United striker Andy Cook, whose first real involvement after coming on as a late substitute in the match was to slip clear of the Chester defence and bend a low shot into the far corner to seal the win in injury time.
Cook had been left on the bench for Saturday's first tie, and Bayliss was quick to praise the 19-year-old for extending a remarkable run of two substitute appearances, and two goals.

"We felt Saturday it was on a bit of a knife-edge the game and Andy's build-up play and hold-up play probably isn't the best at his age but he's a young lad.
"When he's come on today he's run 30-40 yards with the ball at his feet and produced a fantastic finish - all credit to Eric Kinder at Carlisle who raved about him and said give him a little chance.
"We've done that, and he's played about seven minutes now and scored two goals."
Barrow face Eastleigh in the FA Cup first round at Holker Street on Saturday, 7 November.
