The Bluebirds won their opening game 2-0 at Cambridge but were brought down to earth by Tuesday's loss and Bayliss has pleaded for calm within the club.
"Three points out of two games is no disaster," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"I'm disappointed for the brilliant supporters who came in large numbers. I'm sure they'll realise it's a blip."
Next up for Barrow is the visit of Stevenage Borough, who despite remaining unbeaten from their first two matches have fewer points than the Cumbrian club.
Bayliss, along with co-boss Darren Sheridan, is keen to focus on the game ahead and is using the disappointment of Tuesday's defeat as the motivation for his squad. "It's hurting me now and I'm sure it's hurting the players, because to feel like we did on Saturday, to feel like we do now is a stark contrast," he said.
"But it's one game, we've lost three points and we've just got to move on.
"The performance wasn't too bad, it was individual errors at both ends, which have resulted in a 3-0 scoreline.
"If you don't put away chances at one end and then you're sloppy at the other you don't deserve to win football matches."
